The net approach is one of the most important moves in tennis. Many players try to avoid a net attack out of “fear” of the volley. But what do you do against opponents who are good runners, and you are inferior from the baseline? Here, the player needs ways to shorten the points and finish off good groundwork effectively and profitably. It is therefore extremely important to take away the player’s “fear” of the net and to train the way to the net from a wide variety of positions and shots. In this video, I show 11 tennis drills for automating the net attack in individual training.
